Primary Support Workers:
The Primary Support Worker is a team leader, assisting and coordinating efficient supports and the Person-Centered Plan. Empowering people to be active in their community and live the life they choose. Provide a high standard of quality care including daily living supports, medical, family needs, recreational, financial and over all wellbeing while working closely with their team and in-home manager.
Support Workers:
Working as a team member to provide daily living supports as required for people in services. To assist people in living the life they choose in collaboration with their support circle. Maintaining a high quality of care with a person-centered approach, and empowering people to be active members in their community.

Requirements:
• A diploma in Developmental Services, Social Services Community Service Worker and Educational Assistance
• A demonstrated commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.
• A minimum of 1-year experience supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health as well as challenging personal expression (behavior).
• Experience in supporting people in their daily activities of their choice.
• Knowledge and understanding of how to facilitate and support Person Centered Planning.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with computer applications an asset.
• Must be available to work all shifts – days, evenings, nights and weekends.
