President

Patricia Davis 

Pat has been a very dedicated volunteer. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2000 and is the current President having served for two terms prior and Vice president for one term. As President, she is an active member on all the committees of the Board as well as the Rights Review Committee. Pat is a retired Principal with the Niagara District School Board.

Treasurer

Brandon Anger
Brandon joined the Board in 2009. He is President of Cornerstone Homes (Niagara) Ltd and is a Divisional Controller at Walker Industries. With over 20 years of management and financial accounting experience has been a valuable asset to the Finance Committee and Board. Having been in the Insurance business for over 15 Years he brings a valuable skill set to the Board of Directors. Brandon also sits on the board of his church and maintains a small farm with some sheep, chickens, cows and various fruit trees.

Larry Boggio

Larry was first elected to the Board of Directors in 1988 until 1999, and then again in 2003 until present. In 2016 he received his 25 Year Board Service Award. Larry is a business owner and has recently retired as a practicing Pharmacist of 42 years. He provides both a healthcare and a business perspective to the board to help the smooth running of the organization. He held the position of President and Vice President and over the years has been an active member of the Facility Committee.

Nicki Lumsden

Nicki is a Real Estate Broker successfully leading a thriving real estate team here in Niagara. Nicki places community giving and building at the core of her business, actively participating as a Director on Boards such as Community Living Port Colborne~Wainfleet, Port Cares, and as Chair as the Main Street BIA. She was recognized for her leadership in 2023 with the Ontario Real Estate Association YPN Leadership Award. Nicki join the CLPCW Board in 2022 and currently serves on the Quality Enhancement Committee.

Kathy McPherson

Kathy is a registered Nurse who recently retired and joined the Board in 2022. Still doing some part-time work, she brings 37 years of nursing experience with Niagara health in the critical areas of ICU and emergency medicine. Happily married for 34 years, mother of three. Kathy has 2 daughters and one son (who has Down Syndrome). Residing in Welland, she joined CLPCW, not giving rise to conflict, to be an advocate for those with special needs. “I enjoy sitting on this Board and under this Leadership. I am glad to be a part of a forward-thinking collaborative group.”

Honourary Life Member

Jean Lillie
After her retirement as an employee with our organization Jean was elected to the Board of Directors in 1999. She brings a unique perspective to the Board as a past employee. Jean is no longer an active member of the Board but has earned her place as an Honourary Life Member.



Vice President

Patricia Miller

Patti has been a valuable member of the CLPCW Board of Directors and was elected as Vice President in 1994 and previously served one term as President.As Operations Manager at Fontaine’s Transport Inc., her financial experience has been an important asset to the Board. During the 30 years, Patti has held other Executive positions as Treasurer and Secretary and is currently an active member on the Financial Committee.

Secretary

Dan Tonello

Dan is currently the chair of the self-advocacy group People Helping People Achieve. He is dedicated to advocating for enhancing the equality of people and has actively participated on local and provincial committees promoting the goals of inclusion and citizenship. In 2016, he received the Joan Baechler Volunteer Award from CLPCW and the James Montgomerie Award from Community Living Ontario. Dan joined the CLPCW Board of Directors in 2013. He is a member of the Rights Review Committee and the Quality Enhancement Committee. He is also a STAR (Stop Think Act Report) rights and abuse trainer.

Mark Guilbeault
Mark joined the Board in 2009. He is President of Mark Guilbeault & Associates, an independent Insurance brokerage located in Port Colborne. Having been in the Insurance business for over 15 Years he brings a valuable skill set to the Board of Directors.

Barbara Shard

Barbara retired in 2021 from a 40-year career in the Financial Services Industry. She held several positions both in Head Office and the Branch Network. She has extensive experience in project implementation and management. She also was a very successful Financial Advisor. Barbara joined Community Living Port Colborne ~ Wainfleet in 2022 as a Director of the Board, she is also a member of the Governance Committee. In addition to her responsibilities on this Board she is involved with activities at her church. She enjoys reading and traveling and enjoys entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Community Representative

Theresa Gunn
Theresa is a strong advocate for equality in her community and one of the founding members of advocacy group People Helping People Achieve and was elected chair person in 2023.

Theresa has a passion for music and is a member of her local church choir as well Momentum choir, a platform that empowers performers with developmental disabilities. Theresa is also active member of Special Olympics and in the past participated in curling, bocce and currently bowling.
